Adwords Editor - Half a job done?

Google released an upgrade to their Adwords Editor recently and whilst some of the changes are welcomed I can’t help thinking that the job has been left unfinished. It suggests to me that the Editor has a limited life now and that they hope we will all use their new interface instead.

You may not have noticed the rather low key announcement from Google this week but it signals a significant step in Google’s strategy for continued dominance on the Internet.

I’m predicting the start of a revolution in advertising on the Internet in the coming year. In fact it will seem more like a war than a revolution.

Google can see it too and they are taking steps.

New Adwords Feature Doubles Conversions overnight!

Keyword Opportunity - Is it a gift horse?

When Google introduced its new interface, it included a new tab. The Opportunities tab.

With a name like that you would expect it to provide you with new opportunities for your Adwords Campaigns.

Is TV Advertising Dead?

Today I enjoyed some moment of nostalgia whilst watching some very old TV commercials that someone had kindly uploaded to Youtube.

It was while watching them that I realised I could not recall a single current TV ad. In fact it struck me that I haven’t actually seen a TV ad in quite a few months!

I wonder if I am the only one or whether we are all watching less and less “normal TV” and sitting through the adverts.

I really wonder if the day of the TV advert has passed and that TV ads really are dead!

Has Google removed it's Adwords Keyword Tool?

In all this moving around that Google is doing with the new interface I wondered today if they had lost the plot and actually removed the keyword tool.

Fresh back from a few days holiday, I logged onto my Adwords account and the Adwords Keyword tool had completely disappeared. No sign of it anywhere!
