Really Useful Google Search
Published September 28, 2008 by Mike Seddon
Tired of searching Google for information on a product only to find all the top sites that Google lists are sites like Kelkoo, Dooyou, PriceGrabber and many more.
It seems you have to go through the first pages of links to find nothing more than directory sites that actually tell you nothing about the product.
It all stops NOW.
I found this great blog post from Richard Bartlett called Google search results without the dross
He’ll to you how to use the Google inurl command to filter out all the drossy, pointless directory sites.
As he explains in his blog, he discovered this idea from a great site called Give Me Back My Google
At last, Google back how it was in the old days!
Now if only Google would sort out its act on these directory sites and start giving quality search results for consumer product searches again.
