I was reviewing some of our older webpages today and generally freshening up some of the content when I came across some excellent pages on SEO that I’d forgotten we had! So I thought I’d give them a quick mention on a brief blog post.

This week I was working with a new client on their Adwords campaigns. I’d already reviewed the website before meeting them and I was amazed when they told me that the site had already been professionally SEO’d. Why was I amazed, well because it was yet again a classic case of people getting ripped off by companies [...] We all love a few top tips don’t we. I do anyway! Here are my six of the best SEO tips. All guaranteed to be worth the read! Thanks to changes at Yahoo and Google, two of my favourite SEO tools stopped working. I had quite a shock when RankChecker started to tell me that none of my keywords were ranking anymore! It’s always nice to get some recognition and so it was with a smile on my face that I found the KKSmarts SEO course listed as one of the top ten seo tutorials on the Port80 ThreadMonitor blog. I have to say that I agree completely with him that there are not many true and complete [...] Why would anyone choose Wordpress for their blogs if they care about SEO? Probably not if it wasn’t for the many useful plugins that are available. Wordpress straight “out of the box” is not at all SEO friendly. If it wasn’t for Pretty Permalinks I think Wordpress would be hard pressed to gain the following it [...] It amazes me how many people still rely on guesswork to find their keywords, especially with all the tools available today to help you. Anyone who has read any of my articles on keywords will know that I am a big fan of Wordtracker for finding my keywords. It’s the only paid for keyword tool I [...] I bet many people have their favourites and anyone new getting into website promotion might wonder whether they should concentrate on SEO for their site or go for Google Adwords. In an ideal world you would do both with equal effort but who lives in such a world? So, which one is best? In my opinion I think [...] |
